Good to know
Hedges look best when they are trimmed a little and often, rather than cut back hard once a year. Different plants take trimming differently, so if you are not sure what yours is, send a photo.
We do small tree work only. If a tree is large, high or near power lines, we will say so and suggest a qualified arborist.

What counts as a small tree?
Trees and branches we can reach and cut safely from the ground or a low ladder. Anything large, high or near power lines is a job for a qualified arborist, and we will tell you if that is the case.
Do you take the cuttings away?
Yes. The cuttings are cleared away, and the paths and paving are left clean.
When should I trim my hedge?
Many hedges do well with a trim in spring and again in late summer or autumn. Send us a photo of yours and we will confirm what suits it.
